The main shopping areas in Barcelona lie in the city center around Plaza Catalunya. The Ramblas is a good destination for those looking to buy souvenirs and crafts whereas the street of Passeig De Gracia is home to a range of high end designers shops such as Armani, Burberry, Cartier, Calvin Klein and Versace to name a few.
Shopping Bus For serious shoppers the TOMBUS is a bus that runs along the main shopping line starting at Placa Catalunya stopping at all of Barcelonas main shopping areas. The bus runs Monday through Friday from 7AM until 10 PM, 9AM - 10PM on Saturdays. Buses come roughly every 10 minutes (every 15 minutes on Saturdays). A single ticket costs € 1.45 , the T-7 shopping card which is good for 7 trips can be purchased for €9.45.
Department Stores El Corte Ingles is a massive department store where you can purchase clothes, groceries, furniture, cosmetics and a wide range of other goods, all under one roof. The Centre Comerical de les Glories is Barcelona's main shopping emporium with over 25,000 square metres of space. It can be reached by taking metro L1 (Red Line) Glories.
